I have a Note 10.1 and it's really cheaply built if you ask me, creaks and sinks into itself in many places. Not saying that it's not functional though, I really appreciate the s-pen which is why I bought it in the first place.

Acer has no place in the high end market really since they've always made a cheaper, and more inferior product. So this is the right market for them, but they are late to the game and have stiff competition with the likes of HP, Kindle, and many more... If they can somehow make this a very good device for very cheap then perhaps it may catch on.

Because every person in the world can afford premium tablets. Even the nexus 7 costs north of $325 in my country so a 'stingy cheap' tablet is a welcome addition for us
