At Computex, Acer hinted that they might be releasing a Windows Phone 8 model in the first half of next year; Acer's vice president for the EMEA region, Allen Burnes, subsequently said that building an Acer branded Windows Phone 8 model is not in the cards right now. The executive said that sales and volume are important to Acer, and Android provides the results that the company wants...

nokia has great hardware and would be a great alternative than a sammy nokia is always putting out new phones which is great cant hurt to do both finacially it is better.

They dont need to drop the Lumias or windows. But why not bring out a few good Android phones too. There are lot of people out there (myself included) who would blindly buy a Nokia phone because its a Nokia. C'mon Nokia...you have the phones, just put the software in them.

Acer ask yourself why you are not having any success on the Android Platform, and you will know why Nokia is not using Android, too many players on that OS. Windows Phone has a very small market share we already know, but that small share belongs to Nokia. Right now they have no competition from any others, and MS is financing their every need. So why give that up to play catch up on Android?

I have never used android and will never be.. only until Nokia makes one. I guess that time will come when their contract with MS ends.
