Who will buy this at $790 when Note III or HTC Max mostly comes for the same price.

ACER and ASUS smartphone sales are disasters eve though they make reasonably good phones.
They don't have large home market like Lenovo, ZTE and Huwaei have to bail them out.

Good for acer...Google would use 5.0 version for serious update...like native support for multi-window...platform optimizations etc.
