AXIA, a Malaysian mobile phone manufacturer, has announced what it claims to be the world's smallest PDA phone, based on Windows Mobile 5 operating system A308. Measuring 4.5 x 1.9 x 0.8 (113.3 x 48.8 x 20.8 mm) it is doubtful whether it is the smallest PDA or not, but anyway it is definitely feature-packed one. The main features of the quad-band GSM device are:
-
2.2-inch 262k colour TFT touch display
-
1.3 mega pixel camera
-
GPRS/EDGE high-speed data
-
64MB RAM, 128MB Flash
-
miniSD memory expansion slot
-
416MHz Intel CPU processor
-
Windows Media Player 10 (WAV/WMA/MP3 support)
-
Bluetooth 1.2/IrDA
Wi-Fi 802.11b
The AXIA A308 PDA phone is expected to be officially introduced at the CeBIT exhibition in Hannover this month.
