AX355 - new LG clamshell phone by Alltel

Alltel have launched the LG AX355 CDMA/AMPS phone. The clamshell device features an internal color unit and an external grayscale one, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and Bluetooth support. It is also Touch2Talk capable, and supports CDMA 1xRTT data, but lacks EV-DO.
LG AX-355 is currently available on Alltel's web site at a price of $69.99 with a two-year contract.

I have this phone. I like it except I can't receive ringtones sent to me by other people. I have paired with them, bluetooth on and made myself visible but it always says connection failed. I have talked to Alltel support, the store I bought it from and sent an e-mail to Alltel support. NO ONE can tell me what to do or why I can't receive ringtones bluetoothed to me!!

I have this phone too.The people at alltel told me that the reason why you can't recieve or send ringtones through bluetooth with this phone is because the LG AX355 bluetooth is only compatible with the headset that you plug into the side.Then you turn on your bluetooth and talk with the headset.You can recieve ringtones from others through phototext and go to options from the text and save media.i hope i helped you at least a little!!
