Taking photos is one of the top things that people do with their smartphones. These photos often end up being shared, be it over email, over an instant messaging app, or on a social network like Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, or whatever. Some people, however, surely don't realize how much data they consume when they upload images online. To help them save precious megs of data, AVG brought us Image Shrink & Share for Android. I do not want an app that shrinks the dimensions of a photo, but to reduce the bit size only. I can download a picture with my S4 but if I take a snapshot/screencapture, or even try to crop the downloaded pic, the bit size increases, usually ten-fold.
