Surely it’s going to raise some eyes, AT&T announced today that they’re rolling out a new prepaid GoPhone plan that’s priced reasonably at $25 per month. With the new plan, it offers customers a sum of 250 anytime minutes and unlimited messaging...

That is a great plan for people who like to text. It looks like AT&T is going after Spint's market, namely the Virgin Mobile demographics. The question is how are the phones because the last time I checked, their phones sucketh and I ended up getting the Motorola Triumph with 300 minutes and unlimited data at $25 a month.
I hope these cell phone executives get the message: Consumers want good phones and good plans at a fair price. The $300 Triumph should be a wake-up call that consumers will pay more than the current $20 to $100 for crappy prepaid phones. And charging about $180 for the Thrive is a rip-off since Virgin charged as low as $129 for about the same phone.
