You know that Verizon is the last carrier to announce pricing for their phone unless its the Motorola RAZR family!! Plus I bet that its the same price as the AT&T variant

I cant keep that much money waiting im buying mines at full retail price.

either way, we're paying an arm and a leg for this phone!! Id figure that this is the kind of phone that you can keep for most of the contract whether you're a new customer or upgrade eligibile

Duuuuude, what are you talking about? Smartphone prices have actually come down. I remember back in 2005, my XV6600 was $699 off-contract. $599 or $649 is more than fair for what this phone can do!!
Just think about it, iCrap can cost upwards of $600 and it's a Teeny-TiNy screen (⅓ the size of the Note 2) and you can't do much on it (except get iLost, of course).

I understand, its just that this is the kind of phone that youd get your money's worth when you buy it

I will be at my local Verizon store in SOHO; then walk around the corner to the Prince Street iOLiMiTed Store and ask someone in one of those hideous blue t-shirts if they have anything as capable.

Verizon wants the HTC 5 inch 1080 beast to steal the show.. HTC is going to flounder with releasing phones to only 1 carrier.

damn it i was hoping it would be 249$ I'm going have to start saving in order to buy this MONSTROUS phone!
4. Jeradiah3 (Posts: 962; Member since: 11 Feb 2010)
I KNOW RIGHT!!!!!!! I was hoping for $249 as well, but Im still going to get this phone when I use my AT&T upgrade in December. This will be my Christmas present because i know that my wife will say that this is my only present for Christmas lol. Thats fine because i'll feel like a kid that has a shiny new toy to play with lmbo!!!

The original Note cost $299, so how on Earth did you or anyone else figure a much better version, would somehow be $50 cheaper???
29. Jeradiah3 (Posts: 962; Member since: 11 Feb 2010)
It was wishful thinking.........but im getting the phone regardless

it funny how you guys in America make the most buzz about phones, and you are the last to get them!
EDIT: by the time you guys get it, we will be running octa core! lol

So, you're saying by next month, whatever country you are in will be running octa core processors?
15. redsox420 (Posts: 90; Member since: 27 Aug 2012)
You are correct. We here in America love last years products. LOL.. We love always being the last to the dance when it comes to Tech.
The Note 2 has been out for what a few months overseas? HA.. What a joke. Amercia as Mittens Wormney wants to call us is falling behind. We Americans love to brag we are the best, the best at what I ask.
But as an ATT subscriber, I'll take this. I'm due Nov 12 for a early upgrade. Hooray. Early Festivus for me!!

So tmobile can release the 25th and ATT takes a full 2 weeks longer? Why do we have to wait so long? I'm tempted to leave AT&T for a company that's more motivated to keep my business.

Correction my friend Tmobile is launching the night of October 24th. Sprint is launching October 25th and At&t is allowing it's customers to preorder on October 25th. I will be purchasing my Galaxy Note 2 on Tmobile November 1st. My current Galaxy S3 will be sold for 350 dollars on Wednesday October 31st. Tmobile is the place to be for this upcoming device. With unlimited data no other network can be better. At&t shared equal zero, Verizon forget about them, Sprint if you're not on Lte then your on 3g that's extremely weak. Tmobile and it's GSM HSPA PLUS 42MPS network simply blows must networks away.. Boy this is going to be great.

T-Mobile is consistently ranked DEAD LAST out of all of the Big 4 major carriers. There's a reason why AT&T and Verizon both have about three times as many subscribers as Tmo. As with Sprint, unlimited data means absolutely nothing if you can't benefit from it, that's why I left Sprint for AT&T. If you are one of the very few people who actually live in an area where Tmo has good service, I'd probably recommend them... just as long as they weren't the type of person who did a lot of traveling. Otherwise, Tmo is a literally flushing your money down the toilet: spotty service, bad customer service, and no LTE. My friend was always talking about how blazing fast his Tmo fake 4G was, until I did a speed test and my AT&T LTE speeds were easily twice as fast as his were. I have no idea what 42MPS is but perhaps you meant 42Mbps. Good luck finding a reliable source which will backup your claim Tmo averages those speeds. BTW, my average speed on AT&T is 48Mbps down and 11Mbps up.

All of this you posted pretty much menas nothing. Millions upon millions of people enjoy tmobile. It's GSM hspa plus 42 mpbs network is MORE DEPENDABLE than anything At&t and Verizon can throw out. Verizon has poor reception/signal strength on MOST of it's LTE devices. Both At&t and Verizon share USELESS data plans were data must be shared. And both Verizon and At&t are PISS POOR when it comes to updating handsets from gingerbread to Ice cream sanwhich and we won't talk about from Ice cream sawhich to jellybean. How many jellybean smartphones are on At&t or Verizon for that matter. Regardless of this SO CALLED COVERAGE you claim is so much better those networks both have very inconsistent handsets from a dBm/asu standpoint. Tmobile serves it's purpose and this time next year meaning Sept/Oct/Nov none of this will matter when T-mobile breaks out it's LTE ADVANCED NETWORK 10 LTE network which will be backhauled to hspa plus 42. Verizon and At&t jumped on LTE which was fine for them Tmobile waited and will be jumping on ADVANCED LTE 10 talk about that now my friend. Still come November 1st I will be purchasing my Galaxy Note 2 on tmobile and enjoying my UNLIMITED DATA to the hilt just like I do my current Galaxy S3. Plus when tmobile gets the NEXUS 4 in the coming days nobody will be saying to much. Verizon will never see another NEXUS device again...Tmobile rocks...

I agree with post 25, if it works in your area that is good for you, even I would recommend getting it for Tmobile, but I live in Brooklyn and Tmobile is no good in my house, I cannot make a call in my own room and I live on the second floor, in a 3 apartment building. Verizon is similar, my uncle get one bar, so sometimes he drop calls, but I get full bars, but if I didnt, I would of had Tmobile like you

WELL I DNT KNO were u are at that tmobile's hspa blows other networks out of the water but I been to NY , los Angeles, Puerto Rico ,Texas , Vegas and lastly Chicago for work and so far at&te LTE and Verizon's LTE has left my friends t-mobile's hspa plus behind on her galaxy s3 and reception wise att n Verizon win cuz of the lower 700 MHz band and in terms of dropped calls t- mobile was the worse in all those places I mentioned The highest my friend has seen on t- mobile is 21 mbps were I get up to 45 on atts LTE and 30-35 on Verizon. so yeaa .. the only thing killing me is paying for both phones LOL but watev one is for work n the other for personal stuff.

That is 15 days after Sprint, and possibly 16 days after T-Mo.
20. idanoclo (Posts: 2; Member since: 02 Oct 2012)
Why AT&T? You had the note 1 first and still do! tmobile only had it for a month and was discontinued when it took forever for them to get. No other carriers thought the phone will be a big seller. so why do i have to see them and other carriers with the note 2 in their hands before i can get one myself from you "AT&T"?
21. OMarket (Posts: 1; Member since: 23 Oct 2012)
A lady walked in with it at my friends job today so AT&T stores in my area are already selling it.
23. Jeradiah3 (Posts: 962; Member since: 11 Feb 2010)
it doesnt matter what version of the Note II you'll get, this is one of the best phones of the year. the only difference between the variants are the network speed whether its LTE or HSPA+

I won't be eligible for upgrade until the end of next year, and by that time the Note 3 will be out... I'll keep loving my Note until then.
