You guys lead a stupid war - Whats with all the Verizon Vs. ATT bullfeces? The iPhone is awesome if you are a multimedia freak. If not, just shut the hell up and comment the Windows Mobile lagmasters! Get a life and some toilet paper too!

The iPhone sold out: Yes. But didn't the Wii sold out and still continues to be sold out? People waited and lined up to get an iPhone or Mac related product: Yes. But didn't people also lined up when Windows Vista was released? Didn't people lined up and bit the crap out of each other to get a hold of the Wii? So all I see is that far more than a strategy its REALITY. There's no reason to fight which service/phone is better because they are all good. They all have good and bad things equally so. PLUS this article is talking about 21 AT&T stores out of what 5-6 thousand? give me a break.

iphone is going to be sold out for longer than anyone will know. Just because of the fact that steve job's hates us! i have an iphone myself. i unlocked it and im an at&t customer. Personally i dont really care if its faster, all in all it means my talk time is going to slow down for no reason. I live in a 3G widely covered area it still doesnt mean i'll ever use it. I can wait a minute for a page to load, its not like oh no! i've just lost 30 seconds waiting on a page to load. Apple's already failed at being able to unlock the iphone. People already invented a special sim chip that'll unlock it. Apple wants to controll everything with their push notification server, which means all your info goes to them weither you like it or not. The reality is that you can still activate the iphone through itunes thats what you have to do at the apple store, so pretty much it'll still be easy to hack it the same way it was the first time.

Yea alot of people forget that you can get them at Apple stores too, and of course COR stores aren't going to tell you this cause then they don't get commission

Apple lost a few points by making me wait 12 days for my 16g. I am very dissapointed to this major oversight. I hope they get some descent competition to level out the market a bit. I heard the newest delays are due to Steve's pancreatic Cancer...I hope he gets better.
