It's all good, since it will be replaced by something better in 2 months.

A friend of mine already has his delivered today. Had the pics to prove it too. Release dates should be called "estimated date of shipping".

AT&T One X should be the One XL, it should get a separate review rating than using the same rating from the original quad core One X.

I just saw the phone at a local store. I will say, I'm glad I did a pre-order at Best Buy this week. I thought the size would be too much, but it does not feel bad in the had. I'm currently using a Captivate and the 4.7 inch is a big jump in size.

Great looking device and it runs smoothly. Can't wait untli the 6th. The white color is good looking as well.

I just don't see this phone as a big deal, and I have AT&T. It's not leaps and bounds ahead of the GS2. It's only slightly ahead of the S2. It seems that only Samsungs' Galaxy line, imo, is the trend setter. They're really the only ones releasing true next-gen handsets with serious upgrades. This OneXL only really sports the dual core S4, which is a great chip at this point in time, but not much else in terms of evolution. Most high-end dual core phones are damn near instantaneous. How much faster could it really be? That fraction of a second doesn't do it for me. I need real advances, like hopefully the S3 will bring. If not, I may just have to go back to waiting the full 2 year cycle for a new phone before I feel it's worth it.

it's an HTC over a Samsung...that for starters is a pretty huge plus

I'll say this. I'm done right now with Samsung. Every device they seem to release is just a rehash as of late. Samsung Galayx S (aka Captivate), then Samsung Galaxy S II, then Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, now we are headed to Samsung Galaxy S III.

The users experience is the exact same on just about all of those phones (save the III, have not seen it yet). The design, is basically the same as well. The S III may be a bigger leap, but I've seen too much of the same thing to wait. My phone was on its last leg 5 months ago.

I really need better battery life. From what I've been reading, the One x may not be that much better, but I just need something new and this has nice features. I would go for the Xperia Ion since its a little smaller, but Sony can't get their stuff together. Almost 4 months since the announcement and no release date in site for the US.

Can honestly say I am using this phone in White right now. I prefer the HTC layout to Samsung. The camera is super slick and the display is glass with very good colors. I am a ATT customer that was just lucky I think. Just got yesterday, but so far the battery life has been very respectable, but too early to tell for sure. My only thing I dont understand is a lack of visual voicemail on the phone, Maybe this is a ICS thing? Cant call and ask em yet, cause the phone isnt "out"...
