With all those Verizon ads comparing their 3G coverage to AT&T, now it's AT&T's turn to push back...

AT&T should also worry about T-Mo becuse sooner or later they are gonna cach up to AT&T and AT&T will b taken buy supprise lol thats what i think. good try on getting Verizon back haha lame as comersial i have ever seen. i just remembered AT&T is the only one with out Android phones. its obvius that there still depending on the iPhone. iPhone is so 2007-2008 the "in thing" now are Androids lol.

I didn't see a map at all! it was about their 3g map right? I can sum up their commercial in 1 word.... FAIL!!!

38. Truth posted on 19 Nov 2009, 16:44

No 2 words. EPIC FAIL!!!!!

yeah pretty much. considering the map that they were showing wasnt even their 3g coverage area map. They showed a map of there whole calling area.

Why do you think "Onstar" chose Verizon? I'll tell you, because their business depends on a RELIABLE network.

http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/07/3g-speed-test So much for that "fastest 3g" claim, ay AT&T? Damn, without that you are pretty much in the business of, well, selling ipods that on occasion my transmit some messages over space.

fantastic man!!!! hahahahahah hilarious. youre absolutely right. i never thought about that. (+) for you!

21. KingOfPhones posted on 19 Nov 2009, 05:39

that was the worst comeback commercial ever. Most of it was opinion: Fastest 3G network (umm some prof please?), best smartphones (opinion), 100,000 apps (iPhone reference only real valid remark.) Talk and surf t the same time that might be one, but the point is VZW hit them hard with the fact: their network sucks.

22. bagsofcole posted on 19 Nov 2009, 07:11

i do droid and i surf, text, and talk at the same time... i also do sucky apps!

25. Templer16 posted on 19 Nov 2009, 08:13

What i dont get is the surfing the web and talking on the phone at the same time statement. A) Its incredibly worthless feature B) Its completely false, the Blackberry 9530 could surf and talk at the same time. Verizon's ad might have the possibility of miss leading uneducated buyers but atleast they werent flat out lying like ATT

26. ajac09 posted on 19 Nov 2009, 08:30

lol I wonder what Tmobile and AT&T think of tihs? and funny when it comes to 3g speed no one ever puts sprint on the list... lol my 3g in areas with my AT&T friends is usually alot faster then thiers. The only time I wasnt was when sprint was having issues in my area beyond that I kill them in performance and sound quality.

28. CHEFJEFF posted on 19 Nov 2009, 08:36

AT&T must think the population of the USA is really stupid. They can't compete with Verizon on any level! If they didn't have the iPhone, they would be struggling to stay in business. So yeah, they have some nice phones, but what good are they if their network sucks? And I can't understand Apple's stupidity for leaving their obviously superior device in the hands of this lame network. Wake the F up already!!

29. phonesoldier posted on 19 Nov 2009, 08:37

This commercial is pretty weak unfortunately and definitely NOT an effective response to Verizons ads. I also don't understand peoples misconception that Verizon's phones can't do data and voice.....absolutely not true. I'm a Droid user, coming from a blackberry, and I could be on a call and browse the web with both devices (although I don't know why I'd ever want to). I can even send out a text while on a call. I'm not trying to knock any phone, but will say the Droid is AWESOME. Hell, people that take a look at it think that I'm always changing my themes when all's I do is change my wallpaper and Widgets and move my icons around. Its super fast and can do anything I really want. So while the iPhone is awesome and has set the standard, I think that knocks to the Droid or Verizon's service are ignorrant as the combination of both have made it a more than worthy competitor to the iPhone. BTW any argument about the camera that may come up is moot. The known bug is fixed and the camera is WHOA.

how does at&t have the most popular smart what company doesnt sell blackberry's??? lol and i can do multiple things on my bb storm hell hte only phone at&t has is the iphone & did he gain some weight???? this commercial sucks

35. vzw fanman posted on 19 Nov 2009, 13:55

that was the worst commercial i've ever seen. and luke wilson doesn't help it...

36. bagsofcole posted on 19 Nov 2009, 14:13

I mistake. I talk and surf only when I wifi.... I suck Realy though, the keyboard is not all that and the iphone and pre are much more user friendly. Mabey the passion/dragon will be the ONE.

AT&T needs to buy T-Mobile. Then they stand an even better chance of over taking Verizon and with security They can call themselves (considering that the 'T' after the & is the last letter in 'AT&T' and the first in 'T-mobile)AT&T-Mobile, yeah I know but you got to say it fast to sound right. If they would sell of course and if AT&T made them an offer they couldn't refuse.
