The BlackBerry Torch 9800 has been buffed up and with a powerful new processor leading the way, it will be launched on August 21st according to the carrier's Facebook page; at the same time, AT&T is pricing the phone at $49.99 with a 2-year contract...

Actually at $50 this phone isn't a bad deal. The phone isn't great, but with the spec bumps and low price this phone is actually quite appealing for those who were originally going to buy an old iPhone or a simply messaging phone.
