If it always was and always will be the joke all you Verizon fanboys keep saying then why has it been around for so long? Seriously if it were as shitty as you guys state it is then why doesn't everyone go to Verizion...who we all know is best friends with Jesus himself and is the best thing to ever happen to cell phones since the invention of...THE BB STORM.

i dont want everyone to go to verizon. if that happened there would be a monopoly and verizon would raise their rates like crazy. i just want to know why there are more verizon people (it seems) speaking out on this website, than at&t or sprint.

because there are more VzW fanboys, and like fanboys, they troll message boards and phone sites touting how their network is sooooo much better than any other garbage that comes around; its like Yankee fans, they make up at least 50% of MLB message board users.. just because the Yanks have a serious fanboy problem..

And people are haters too. Explain why there's so many non-AT&T users on this message board when the article is all about iPhone and AT&T. People see the word iPhone and come in the thread just to complain. I'm 95% sure that iPhone articles get the most internet hits on average and Im sure a large percentage of these hits come from people who don't have the iPhone.

ATT: Sub Par Network + expired labor contracts + talks of raising healthcare, retirement costs, and decreasing employment security. Sounds like a company that 1. I wouldnt want a data device on 2. I certainly wouldnt want to work for. ATT FTL And what is all of this infrastructure talk? Sounds a bit long winded to me. . .

Infrastructure: too big of a word for you to understand. Sorry you can't keep up...

All these comments, Verizon people need to stay on their forum and stop annoying ATT people and vice versa. look the facts are even Verizon realizes that they need to move to a more international platform (Since 1 parent Vodafone, forced it down their throats) and are moving to LTE to compete with such providers as ATT and T-Mobile. Now you may complain but in my area VZW sucks, you can't even get coverage and when you do, it says full strength, but you get drop calls all the time. The thing is neither network is good for everyone all the time, move on. I'm more interested in understand the features of the new iPhone. Reasons why I left Verizon, 1. No service, or extremely poor service in my area, 2. Horrible customer service, those reps think because they get rated the best that they don't need to deal with customers and 3. No iPhone say what you want, the storm is no where near the iPhone, Samsung, HTC, and LG are closer to making an iPhone beater then RIM and 4. Hate my bluetooth being locked up 4 the love of GOD, leave the phones alone (same problem on the iPhone but that's an Apple issue not ATT).

Miacol, all good points! Seriously I like your points of view and the way you state certain things to be true in your area, and your opinion! Good show! Also just an FYI Vodafone isnt VZW's Parent Company, if anything Verizon Comm would be. VZW is a joint "venture" between the two stock holders (VZcomm55%, and Vodafone45%). Parent company is just too suggestive and improperly used in this case I think...

wow..... you are all sad and pathetic.... I will let you all in on a little secret... Apple didn't reinvent the smartphone, Blackberry didn't reinvent the smartphone, and HTC (the only company I will buy smartphones from) didn't reinvent the smartphone. Wanna know who did? MOTOROLA (LOL.... seriously, it hurts my fingers to write it and my eyes to read it, but they did.) All smartphones (windows, palm, and Blackberry) were the biggest, bulkiest pieces of garbage at least 1 inch think and weighing so much they pulled your pants down. I know I had an i730 for 2 years. Motorola decided to make a fashionable smartphone, that was thin and practicle for non geeky type people to use and still be productive. This radical idea of a smartphone for everyone was a spectacular innovation that shocked the smartphone industry, subsequently blackberry released the pearl for T-Mobile, which sparked the curve (blackberries number one selling phone), which sparked HTC to make the Touch, Apple to make the iPhone, HTC to make the Touch diamond, samsung to make omnia/HD............. and so on. All of you need to shut up! Innovation sparks more innovation, we need blackberry and apple and windows and android to fight no holds bar style..... "But kiltlifter... why is that?" I will tell you boys and girls..... BECAUSE WE AS THE CONSUMERS WIN!!!!!!!!!! So stop arguing and whining and crying like little boys and girls in a kindergarten classroom, sit back, relax, and let the phone manufacturers, and phone service providers duke it out. The more they fight, the more we win.

Someone better bring you a GD apple tomorrow! Thanks kiltlifter! ha ha ha .... (Apple: the usually round, red or yellow, edible fruit of a small tree) Just wanted to clear that up so kiltlifter didnt come in tomorrow to a barrage of IIe's LOL

I disagree with a lot of things you said but overall I agree: We should stop arguing.

Actually IBM created the first smartphone in 1982, but Nokia made the first present generation smartphones in 2001 and Handspring made them popular.

32. baldilocks posted on 07 Apr 2009, 05:25

Way too many whiny Verizon fanboys on this website. Blackberry's are boring, mostly text based machines--nothing to brag about.
