Hmm... on the Mag Mile. Well it will be easily viewable which is nice. But yeah. The Mag Mile has seen its fair share of super thieves especially between Chicago and Grand St. and this means more advertising. which is annoying. Anyone from Chicago ride the Red Line in the subways and notice those obnoxious HUGE apple signs in the Subway that light up and blind the hell out of ya when the train goes thru there? North/Clybourn. Its so damn annoying!

Lets not start calling all technology stores with contemporary interior design "Apple-style". Last thing we need is to give Apple something else to falsely clame as their intellectual property.

Exactly. If one has visitied Downtown Chicago, one would know that all the stores over there look like this if not better. I don't see a resemblence to an Apple store at all other than the huge gaps of space in the room.

Uh oh. It has counters, tables, windows, doors, floor, ceiling, and sells items. This sounds like a "copy". Stay tuned for a lawsuit.

Only if table has "rounded corners" and if there's anything that is used for "Slide To Unlock/Lock" else no :D

I wanna say I dont think they'd sue AT&T, cuz AT&T sells their phones but they sued Samsung and Samsung supplies some of their components. I'm an iOS user, but apple really needs to chill with this lawsuit crap, and let us the consumer have what we want. And I want the G note 2.

I passed by the store yesterday and it was simply beautiful. The Apple store in downtown is also on Michigan Ave.... And to let everyone know, all the stores in Downtown Chicago look like this if not better. Macy's, Sears, Nordstrom, Puma, etc.

Maybe it's a good idea for companies to refrain from using the phrase "Apple-style". Just a thought.

How about instead of building multi-million dollar stores they improve their garbage reception and horrid customer service.

What? Apple-style store. Its a store for crying out loud and if anything it's style is base on open floor showrooms.

this is true. An "apple style" store is nothing more than a phone equivilent to a car lot showrun, with wide open spaces and prominent product displays, rather than efficient but unappealing department store displays.
