0. phoneArena posted on 12 Jan 2013, 22:25

AT&T has a special deal for Windows 8 phones that started on Friday and runs through February 21st; all you need to do is buy a Windows Phone 8 model and take $100 price off the same model of Windows Phone 8 handset which means if you buy a Nokia Lumia 920, you get to take $100 off a second Nokia Lumia 920 or you can buy an HTC Windows Phone 8X and take $100 off another HTC Windows Phone 8X unit...

It needs to be a contract? Pass.

You're getting 2 $450 phones for $100 out of pocket on a carrier you were going to use anyway (locked to the network, no other GSM carrier has LTE, designed for that network...) and not paying any extra for the privilege.. Why does it matter?

A two year contract is a burden and an unwanted obligation. I can never miss a payment, and I must keep paying after I no longer wish to use the phone. Why would I want to keep a phone for 2 years? That is just annoying.

so thats how 1st world countries live eh? you cant stand to use a phone for more than 2 years...

"A two year contract is a burden and an unwanted obligation."

Said every poor person ever to justify not signing a *GASP* 2 year contract! OH NOES I'm expected to actually pay my bill?! Screw you ya thieves!

Eh you're wrong, without a contract he could use the phone with t-mobile and their unlimited nationwide 4G no throttled for 70 $ or maybe he wants to get a value plan where you get things at half the price, like 2 gigs of high speed and unlimited 2g for 10 $ or unlimited texting 5 $ 500 minutes with unlimited mobile to mobile 35 $ I mean he could be thinking outside the box which not many people do, and the LTE advance t-mobile is about to roll out is actually supported by the lumia and it's penta LTE bands nokia put in place (17/2100 mhz) and in any case the bands also support t-mobile's hspa+ 42 mbps in both refarmed areas and non refarmed areas, so if someone is dumb enough to give at$t 100 dollars a month for only 2 gigs of Web when they can save 4X the amount with t-mobile for the same thing, for instance, at&t charges 20 $ for unlimited texting, that's 4x as much with t-mobile, 2 gigs of Web for 25 $ and if you go over that you're screwed, that's 1.5 times more than t-mobile, so someone with common sense wouldn't sign a two year contract, at least not with at$t

That's why we all have choices right?

No! Stop being a turd. Xperia phones are so-so. Had one on at&t and it fried within a month. Incase you didn't know, Sony has a problem with devices overheating. A friend of mine works at a local Sony plant told me of some of their issues. Not sure what he means when he says they don't clean their boards?? But I don't argue. No wonder why I went through numerous playstations and the Xperia crapped the bed!
