I'm surprised Apple isn't selling the phone unlocked by now.

Me. I love the simplicity of the device, and the fact that it will sync flawlessly with all my Apple computers. Every single Apple product I've ever owned just simply...works. And works the way it was designed and the way it should. My BB has just been on headache after another. Even after upgrading to OS 5.0 I still get these random, nonsensical errors after I soft reset, and now it doesn't recognize when I plug it in to charge it half the time either. Just an overall pain in the ass. A VZW/Apple marriage would be ideal; then you have the best of both worlds...in my opinion.
