AT&T is working on bringing visual voicemail to its Windows Phone Mango enabled smartphones
Share:
Some handset owners might not appreciate it as much, but it looks as though that AT&T is hard at work in bringing visual voicemail to its Mango driven smartphones. Even though it’s not on board with the recent availability of Mango, AT&T states that the feature was added to the fruitful update at a later date – thus, it wasn’t included with the carrier’s testing. Fear not, there’s only going to be a “small delay” seeing that AT&T is intent on making it a reality.
AT&T seemingly confirmed the good news through its Facebook page, which should throw some smiles in the direction of those who are eagerly waiting for it. Now if they can somehow work in having tethering available as well…

its what the iphone has you dont have to call to check voicemail. You can see who sent the voicemail and listen to whichever one you choose and dont have to go through all of them. I hope android gets this

Visual Voicemail is the ability to view a list of all of your voicemail messages on the screen and decide which one(s) you want to play back. AT&T has supported the feature for both iPhone and Blackberry, but has not supported Windows Phone yet. I'm not sure what they mean that it wasn't in their earlier build, T-Mobile has supported the feature in the Mango preview since June.

So instead of just listening to someone leave you a voicemail, now you can see them do it too!
I don't see what the big deal is.
