We knew from the jump that AT&T would be offering the HTC One in all flavors. As usual, we do not know...

Screw AT&T and their exclusives. The 64GB should be offered on ALL carriers!

I'm willing to bet Verizon was being a petty bitch and probably explains why the One won't be arriving on the carrier. Shame the coverage is the only thing keeping me here.

You can't blame carriers for sealing exclusive deals with the phone manufacturer you have to blame the manufacturer for being stupid. Clearly selling 64gb to only at&t users limits the potential sales of this device so if HTC feels this approach will help them sustain their company then it's their bad. I think they have a bunch of idiots deciding matters up at HTC hq.

Believe it or not, but what made me get serious about my health was very bad news from my Dr. He told me straight up the my BP was too high, and I was flirting with diabetes. I went from 314 lbs to 219 over the course of 11 months. I then learned the importance of having muscle mass, and the role it plays in helping to control sugar metabolism, so I got serious about the weights. I'm this way not to show off, and be a badass, but because I needed to change my lifestyle or risk dying too young bro.

F***!!!!!! Damn u HTC !! And here I was defending you cause it had a 64gb variant...but 32 isn't enough for me...perfect time for sd support. :(

20. Taters (Posts: 2596; Member since: 28 Jan 2013)

They probably can't even make it for every carrier if they wanted to. Their quality control is difficult enough for them with just the 32gb variant and two colors. They already delayed the 32gb variant's launch. I wouldn't be surprised if no one gets the 64gb.

Judging from all the complaints, uneven speaker grills, gaps, finishing marks, like typical HTC, etc.. I doubt it is just the camera. Sounds more like factory problems.

Cause they have to many high end devices!
Looks like they will keep The One Trademarked! Like Samsung they have their S line, Sony with Z, LG with G. They should've concentrate on making 1 high end handset instead of launching 2 or 3! Consumers know Samsung as their S and Apples iPhone12345, what is Htc know as,,,,? Htc learn from Apple and Samsung Sony!

I was just referring to the exclusivity of the 64 GB to AT&T; nothing else. I think that HTC should have both the 32 and 64 GB available to all carriers and not just AT&T. I don't know why you're bringing up the G, S, 12345, or whatever.

Because he is correct, the "exclusives" are part of what is killing HTC. Same as it did with Moto. The more different devices you make, the more you have to support. That's the problem. Fewer devices makes it easier for a company to be more successful. Also, it would allow them an identity, right now they don't have one.

No, HTC doesn't listen, that's why they are not as successful. Also, they should have taken a page from sammy and stopped offering carrier exclusives. Eventually, if all the manufacturers did this, the carriers would learn their rightful place. That is as dumbpipes for content and voice transmissions.

Probably 6 months. Remember AT&T got the iPhone for all that time, cuz Verizon initially told apple no, sprint didn't have the infrastructure, and Tmobile didn't have the subscriber base so they locked in with AT&T

I don't think there should be any carrier exclusives though, to me it's just a carrier ploy to steal customers from other carriers.

You are 100% correct. That's exactly why they have carrier exclusives. The problem is, rarely do people leave a carrier specifically for a phone. At least not on the android side. So really this just screws us, the customers of other carriers, over. Personally, I am with you, I wish that more carriers would be more like Tmo. I'm actually considering moving over there.
