We’ve been wondering why the 3G capable Sony Ericsson phones are not coming to the U.S., but now this is in the past. Although the K850 may have been canceled, the other rumored phone (Z750a) is now officially announced to hit the shelves in early April.

Coming at $50 after $100 mail-in rebate, it will deliver you global (2G and 3G) connectivity in a Motorola-like design for only a few bucks. Targeting every possible customer, the Z750 comes in three color variants: (Phantom) Grey, (Rose) Pink and (Mysterious) Purple.

I love this phone. The menus are very easy to use, it's easy to text on, and it has a good music player. The screen is nice and big which is great for pictures and using the internet. The camera takes good quality pictures, although you can't zoom in when its in the highest revolution. Sometimes it is a little slow when loading menus and things. The battery life isn't nearly as long as what it claims, but it's not bad. It does at least charge quickly. Overall, I'm really glad I chose this phone.
