so if 1 person wathching 1 video takes as much bandwhich as making 100 phone calls and the network can get congested how come i never have any problems watching videos on verizon? Or sprint? On att i cudnt even watch youtube videos cuz it would crap out or it would just get frozen on rebuffering on my samsung captivate on 3g i always had to use wifi to be able to watch porn or youtube videos on my captivate and on verizon that has more subscibers i nevr had that problem on my droid x i dont even need wifi so i just want to know 1 thing when att gets 4g is it going to be better?? Bcause i like att and i wud be willing to give them another try when they get 4g right now i canceled my contract with them cuz of crappy reception and slow 3g so yea will 4g make their network better? And faster and improve reception inside buildings? Cuz i would be willing to switch to them again also cuz everyon in my family has att so i wudnt wast my minutes calling them

As i've stated before, switching from Sprint to AT&T was the best thing i've ever done as far as wireless is concerned. That's not to say that AT&T doesn't have it's problems but I think alot of this negative attention is hearsay. Similar to when the ps3 launched, people would make up ridiculous claims about it catching fire. I'm sorry but if AT&T sucked so bad, people would switch or wouldn't have bought 3 million iphone 4's in a matter of weeks. I have a Verizon work cell phone and it is simply horrible. The worse thing my job did was switching to Verizon. Just my opinion but I think people need there own brain on stuff and not let the media cloud there thoughts on things.

Alot of the negative AT&Tisms are media/blog-hyped based....one person yells "the sky is falling" and like lemmings everyone follows.

why did you leave sprint? imjust curious since i work for them.

Why does this always have to turn into an argument about networks? Jesus, just find the one that works for you and then go with it. Just because AT&T sucks for one doesn't mean it will suck for all. Same with all the other carriers. Sprint doesn't work in my house, but I don't go trashing it.
You guys are totally ruining my joke on the ITU making everything 4G! lol.
Waiting for EDGE to be included as well...

I really could care less bout AT&T upgrading network I just hate the sorry ass phones they have. That's why I haven't yet to upgrade my phone cause they have crappy Android devices and low end phones to choose from. And what's so big news bout it anyway they won't get 4G till 2012. So I will switching to T-Mobile next Oct.

Dude, the CAPTIVATE is better than pretty much all phones on T-MOBILE's network....except maybe the HD series and the G2...

@ InspectorGadget80: I have T-mobile and i can tell you it is no better than ATT. Also y dont u just go for the samsung captivate? its pretty awesome, or the Sony Erricson Xperia X10? Which is by far the sexiest phone on the Market! Also with the Xperia X10 you will reach T-mobile's so called 4G speeds because it supports 3.5G 10Mbps.
@ Tre-Nitty: I have no idea what kind of verizon service u have but Verizon is the most Legit Carrier in the U.S. i recently was on a road trip around the U.S. and i traveled with a guy That had ATT And a Guy that had Verizon. Verizon had service in the places u never even knew existed! while i On T-mobile and The guy on Att would lose service in the exact same areas and never have service in the middle of nowhere. while verizon was always Full bars 3G.
