AT&T and T-Mobile to announce the BlackBerry Bold 2 on October 21
The title pretty much says it all. EngadgetMobile has gotten some unofficial information, going the successor of the popular BlackBerry Bold will be announced by both AT&T and T-Mobile on October 21. As it is believed, maybe the most important change in terms of design and usability will be that the RIM BlackBerry Bold 2 9700 (also known as the Onyx) will sport a touchpad, whereas the original Bold had a trackball. Unfortunately, pricing details and firm launch dates are still unknown.

I just picked up a bb tour, Verizon said it's a newer, improved version that addressed the track ball problem, and the battery door problem. So far it's been great.
