AT&T has released a new app designed to answer the needs of social networking fans. AT&T Social Net will be suitable for people who participate in multiple online communities, because it allows you to access content on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace as well as to read news feeds from over 35 websites. The carrier informs that users will be able to see and respond to tweets, status updates, wall posts, profile comments, photo activity, etc. They will also receive notifications about updates on their social accounts, even if the app is closed.

This is great news...I started my facebook account two months ago and go on facebook alot....I will be using this app for my Samsung Jack..

It is a decent idea... they could probably make some money if they throw some advertisement bars in the background while you tweet or update status... very interesting... I know if I were an AT&T exec I would capitalize on the use of this app with tiny advertisements, as long as they don't impeed the use of the app in anyway... the customer needs to feel like they are not being "sold" on anything.
