Man, if the Skyrocket gets ICS before the regular GS2, that's just plain gonna suck.

You could always root and run a custom ICS rom on your I-777.
But I would agree that the skyrocket version get ICS before the SGH I-777 considering how closely related it is to the GT-I9100

Yeah, only a few countries in Europe have gotten it. And they are unlocked and unbranded GT I1900's. Not the AT&T subsidized I-777

Downloading official update on my skyrocket now!
Update installed.... 2.3.6 this is not ICS Samsung! This is a silly little update that was on the gs2 months ago and wasn't available on the skyrocket even yesterday!
