ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity

Just a tad more than two weeks after its release,  the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity is getting an OTA software update. The new software version, 9.4.5.26, is being sent out to U.S. and international models and fixes some compatibility issues with certain SD cards. It also adds improves stability and enhances performance. Some owners of the latest ASUS flagship tablet say the screen is more responsive to the touch after installing the update.

If you haven't received a notification about the update, you can manually check it out by going to Settings > About tablet > Software updates, and then hit the button to see if software version 9.4.5.26 is ready to be loaded on the tablet. Some owners of the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity say that they haven't received the update yet and that is quite normal. No one is out to get you and ASUS doesn't hate you. These things go out in rolling waves, so try to be patient. You won't be waiting for, gulp, infinity.

When will your review be out PA? I'm considering upgrading my Prime! They say the keyboard dock of the Prime is compatible with this one so I'm actually considering it.
HD Screen + Improved 2MP Front Camera + Beautiful 8MP Camera + Plastic Top for Signal Strength --- i want to know if it's worth it.

You know bobfreking55, I am in the same boat as you. I decided not to upgrade. I know the screen is VERY nice but it's pretty much a Prime with a better & more high quality screen.

I am waiting for a true successor on the Asus Transformer Infinity. My Prime is running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean & it's an absolute JOY. Imagine how much better the new Asus Transformer tablet will be compared to the Transformer Infinity.

I am running Team EOS Jelly Bean nightlies for the Asus Tranformer Prime. Go to RootzWiki.com it's there.

Everything is working very well for the most part, even the keyboard dock is working. I also feel like my Wi-Fi reception is stronger with that ROM.

Bugs, are the front facing camera is still not operational. So if you want to use Tango you will need to use the rear facing camera. Also the second battery icon that appears once the keyboard is docked is still not showing up. Some Micro SD card reading problems. I think GPS is still not working.

They are up to build # 31 as of yesterday. I haven't checked today yet. I feel it's the most complete Jelly Bean ROM out right now. AOKP has a preview Jelly Bean ROM but that is too buggy, & CM10 has a preview ROM out too, but I am really liking Team EOS Jelly Bean Nightlies. They release a new ROM almost every other day. I use it as my daily driver, everything I need is already there & there is more to come every other day.

Once other ROMS get a little bit more stable I will check them out but as of now the most stable one I thing is Team EOS.

Yeah just wait for the official update. It's going to feel like you got a brand new tablet. Jelly Bean is THAT good. Trust me. For me ICS is the past now.

I just hope they fix the damn "No Connection - Retry" issue.
