Lol. No one cared about this anyway. xD
Way to go Apple. You give a one week ban for a stupid feature that no one cared about so the GNex gets more publicity.
Lolololol

A $96 million week ban that is. :-)
Apple, for being a number one company, i thought you'd be better with money.

As much as I dislike Samsung, I genuinely hope they win the appeal, and the Galaxy Nexus is restored as normal with and without this workaround, wish someone gave Apple a taste of their own medicine when they were miles behind Windows and weak, hopefully, just hopefully, that day will come again and the likes of Google, Samsung, HTC and Sony will crap all over them.

Referring back to the patent, don't ALLLLL Android devices use a unified search to search the handset itself along with the web.

Why aren't the other devices getting banned for violating this patent?

Again, apple did nothing wrong by protecting their patent. Samsung and Google did what they should and should do from now on out. Stop using patents that they have no need to use. Respect others patents. Bottom line.

Again, to any company that uses patents without permission they should be punished including apple. If an agreement is in place, then cool. Unlike you android fanboys I don't have loyalty to any company. I have a one x and will definitely purchase the next iPhone. Samsung has blatantly copied apple several times. I personally don't give a crap but if they weren't given permission to do so, then they shouldn't use the feature. That goes for apple, Samsung, google, HTC, etc.

I really hate this line that you fanboys keeps saying. Wasn't it Steve Jobs who quoted Picasa "Good artist copy, great artist steal"?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CW0DUg63lqU
I'm not saying that Samsung or Google, or anyone else stole anything from Apple, but if Apple does it why can't everyone else. He even goes on to say that they are shameless in doing it. So don't feed us your crap that other companies need to stop.

Well...Galaxy Nexus was designed to be Apple proof...even owners didn't know about this feature untill Apple highlighted...I bet even Google didn't expected that Apple will own a patent on it...anyway...who cares for something people don't even use!

I did had Android. not going that road again. look in my profile.. JB doesnt matter. is the Nexus that has outdated specs ( acording to Android) why get a nexus when a Android shopper can get the SGSSIII which JB will be available trough XDA a few weeks if not days after Jelly Bean code is released...

At 350 bucks for a phone which still has a powerful processor and the best Android support one can ask for, as well as being unlocked without a contract, I'd say it's pretty f**king worth it.

then why is it colecting dust.. at Sprint and verizon.. look at sales... again specs only mather to geeks.. and most are salivating for the SGSIII or the RAZR

Sales volume doesn't indicate value. There were and are plenty of awesome products out there which were and are great values which didn't and don't sell all that well.

Come on, Gallito. You're smarter than this.

Your DX sucks? I'm sorry.

My dad is still using the DX I bought on launch day two years ago. He uses his phone every single day for business and it works absolutely fine.
