obviously coz this is not meant to compete with the 1020. its meant to compete with the gs4 and i5s etc. besides, dont believe anything other than official samples

it IS meant to compete with them. i5 vs s4 vs htcOne vs 1020 vs lgG2 vs this
they are all smartphones giving their best features on a same timeline.

I have the BEST mobile Samsung S3 and a Nokia 808 JUST for photos. I´m very happy with BOTH. I take photos with Nokia 808 and past via NFC to S3 and ... play with it. I particularly don´t like WP. But Nokia is the king of cameras.

esato has.confirmed software versions of different samples

party--14.1.g.2.86_9_f200

beach--14.1.g.1.406_9_b400

and BIKE--14.1.g.1.443_9_b600

Your argument is a joke. Honami isn't even out yet - please don't say how good this phone is without even trying it.

Wait till it's out, try it buy it whatever then come back to the discussion with how 'good/crap' arguments.

Hellow... ever heard of fakes? This is not even a real phone yet! There is no Honami that is official as of now! If I were you, I will pass judgement 1 week after release of the phone when reviewers gets hands-on on the real and legitimate device.

I don’t think its Honami photo samples, because there is no way 20MP 1/2.3 Sensor with f/2.0, high quality Sony G Lens and Bionz processor, Takes much more worst pictures than Xperia SP.

Yeah i know cuz i read the article, but just like what i have said there is no way high quality camera sensor, lens, and image processor takes much more worst pictures than mid-range phone like Xperia SP even with pre-production software.

Why people treat this like it is going to do well in camera only. It is all around flagship smartphone like Xperia Z, HTC One and Galaxy S4.

Either they are bluffing big time so that the expectations may go down... or we are about take that all with the whole damn rock of salt...

Better not be the second possibility cause people have already had their blood pressure shot up by taking everything with that famous "Pinch".

As for those eager to compare Honami's Cam with 1020 while expecting the earlier to beat or match the later, should open their minds and stop acting dumb. After all, the plain fact that 1020 packs a 1/1.6" sensor as opposed to 1/2.3" of Honami is alone enough to tell the story not yet fully told. It's like expecting the GTR to flatly beat the Bugatti in a 1 mile drag race. Hmmm unless the GTR is modified and ... there comes the famous "pinch" again...

I find it hypocritical that people bash the design language of Samsung phones when all these Sony phones look like carbon copies of themselves and have no intuitive differentiation for the large part.

Bcoz sony do a 1 year same design for all products while sammy, look at their line up its been two years since S3, and still every phone looks the same two years ago. Plus sony has what we called premium, unlike plastic!

S2 will be the best evah sammy made!!
