I was so getting the Storm 2, as a replacement for my Storm. I am going to the Droid now, I kinda don't want the Storm 2 anymore.

Yeah I would agree with that statement whole-heartedly. I'm over the "sure-press" technology. And to be honest, I don't really care for how bulky the Storm is. I think they should get rid of sure-press and slim the thing down! I'm not totally fed up with BBs, but I am with the touchscreen BB for sure.

Looks like it's gone now, Verizon must not have meant to make this public!

they for sure wont launch it tomorrow. They will do what they did last time and advertise teaser adds for it for like a week and then launch it.

I have a friend who has a friend who has a cousin that works for VZW. They said it won't be released until Black Friday, like last year.

It was released before Black Friday last year, which as I have said before they will probably release the phone the same day/date as last year or after for all the inital people that bought the phone will be elidgeable for they're 1yr upgrade. It would make sense to do it the day or so afterwards like my friend that got to the store too late and they had to overnight/next day air his storm the day he bought it.

Some people are frustrated with the storm because it has no real buttons to type with (not to mention software issues). The point of the storm was that you got the feel of pushing a button. That's been removed from the storm 2. Now it comes with vibrate feedback. The voyager had that. I'll skip the storm2. I'll get a storm 3 if they make it a slider phone with a nice big touchscreen AND a physical qwerty keypad. See Pre, TouchPro2, Droid. Why doesn't RIM just buy palm? Combine their OS's, use the Pre's screen and the curve's keypad. A device with synergy for your web based stuff and BES for your corporate stuff. And firefox mobile. That would be the ultimate smartphone.
