I kinda think this is a wasted effort. Barnes & Noble did ok with the first Nook Tablet. I feel like they should have upgraded the ram, processor, etc and came out with a second gen version, or a Nook Tablet+

It only came out 3 months ago, why release another gen now?

I feel like it won't be a popular seller immediately and will therefore be a wasted investment. Unless B&N had some extra cash stashed in the first batch's budget and is using this as a test run, I can't see why a same gen, smaller memory version, is coming out 3 months after instead of a month after.
