8 iPhone cases with awesome (or quirky) added functionality
There are so many iPhone cases on the market that you can have one for each day of the year. The most basic among them only care for the protection of its anodized aluminum body. And the wildest of them can make you very disgusted or very hungry. There's another category that stands in the middle – cases with add-on functionality. It seems there are designers and engineers out there that consider the iPhone case as much of a platform for innovation as the phone itself.

Without further ado, here are eight imaginative examples of how far the iPhone case can be pushed to not only protect Apple's flagship, but serve the entirety of mankind. We admit, the second part may be slightly exaggerated.

You do not want to be caught by the police with this on you, it still counts as a knife.
