Alright, so gadgets are for boys. All kinds of a sexist statement, sure? And yet, it's unfortunately true—for a number of reasons, the latest and greatest in tech is often targeted at boys (even grown-up ones), especially if we're talking about the kind of early adopters-only gadgetry of the day. You know, like smartwatches.

Yes, yes, the novelty aura surrounding wearables has begun to wear off at this point, but keep in mind that for the mass market, these are still very much the gadgets of the future. And just because you know what they're all about doesn't mean that's at all the case with the rest of the globe. And it seems that's doubly true when it comes to the finer gender. Otherwise, smartwatch manufacturers—of which we now have several handfuls—would more aggressively attack what is 50% of the population. Unfortunately, only few have, and it's usually a more feminine combination of colors and bands that will have to suffice for any tech-savvy ladies out there. Thankfully, a few models/combos look genuinely pretty on a woman's wrist.
