6.44" Sony panel pops up, makes us hopeful for MWC

Remember those speculations we might be seeing a Sony C6603 Yuga handset with a 6" display later in the year? Well, a Sony-branded panel has appeared from the confines of Chinese manufacturing, and it sports a 6.44" diagonal, which fits the description...

this is xactly wad ppl said wen samsung introduced d Note.. 2 years back 4 inch was considered big.. 3.5 inch was big enough by apple standards..look were d world stands nw.. I think if it s a good product with sum real innovations, sony ll find a good market

More than 5.5 seems to be an awkward device to be called a phone or phablet but I still want to see this device.

Totally agree, I get pushing boundaries, but 6 inch is way too large, 5.5 inch Note 2 is already too big! But the thinner form factor compared to Original Note made up for it. Why not just keep it at 5.5? Might as well get a Nexus 7

6.44" display?! Pushing into tablet territory. At that point, you might as well just get you're a 7" tablet and call it a day.
