Chinese BBK, the company behind both Vivo and Oppo, has been on a row lately, and so far it would appear that it won't be disappointing with its upcoming Vivo Xplay 3S flagship, either...

Believe or not, password is safer than finger print when it comes to security

I wish I could agree with that but only if it was true, the iphone 5s implemented this idea in a truly unique way. I'm not saying it's straight out unbreakable but this is also the same with passwords

1: You can't change your finger print whereas you can with password (imagine your finger prin leaked on the Web as file)
2: Taking your thumb out is whole lot easier than taking something in your brain

Because people totally have a major interest and massive amounts of time to go out of their way to leak fingerprints, of normal civilians living normal lives, on the web, for millions of people to download so that they may then rip that fingerprint onto one saids device once tracked down throughout the 7+ billion people on this planet. Once tracked down and the said persons device is stolen, the thief can then go through countless hours of making a replica that would actually work (given that people with this level of education and skill have nothing better to do than to unlock a fingerprint locked phone so that they can sell it for 700$ on eBay later). Totally makes sense.

I saw my friend with an iOS7 launcher, this really caught my attention after I realised how so many people seemed to express hate over it

LOL appearing after Iphone 5s??? HTC for exsample had it years ago!! Just that "it was useless" until apple spent $500Bill on publicity to fucck ppls brains :D
(it's obviously not the first exsample... that's the power of publicity^^)

Seriously still don't see the point of a fingerprint scanner. I wish companies would just stop jumping on a feature Apple has every time they release a new device. Apple are no longer the kings of mobile devices and these companies need to realise that finger print scanners are just over-hyped gimmicks.

welcome to the future, you should get a 5S, if you care to understand why so many OEMs are finding it very important (Samsung is down with this too)

Even if companies find the feature gimmicky, they're sure they won't miss out on the money to be made from including it. Remember the 3D T.V. and smartphone hype?

Please China, give us more phones with obscure resolutions. I'm sure existing apps will look fantastic on them. Naaaat -_-

2560x1440 is not an obscure resolution. It's double the height & width of 1280x720 or the next logical step up from 1920x1080. All 16x9 aspect ratios.

Its kinda cruel to compare other sensors to HTC:s since it was failure. There are other kind of sensor solutions out here, look at pantechs sensor or Fujitsu new tablet with sensor, they seems to work like a charm.
