A report from IBN Live shows that 5,000 people in the U.S. alone are killed each year from texting and driving; the numbers come from a number of calculations including one made from a 2009 study that shows that driving while texting increases the risk of a crash by a whopping 23 times...

yo texting and driving is serious......, but more and more ppl do it, would voice to text help????

Its so stupid. Must say i find it hard to even look at my phone while driving, then again i tend to drive fast, i am that prick who sits on your backside til you get out the way, and i hate it when i find some douche on the phone who doesnt indicate and drives slowly on the fast lane.

What's unfortunate is that other safe operators can get hurt from someone being careless. If it was just the violators who happened to pass away in the accidents, it would just be an act of weeding out the herd and most likely make for a better world.
