I don't know much about HTC phones, but as long as they're pumping out those Android OS phones to Verizon, I'm happy.

I guess that is what you get for choosing such an over-priced crappy company.

I don't know why you hate Verizon so much... Did Verizon insult you some how? And for your information, I really like Verizon's signal coverage and customer service much better than I did with Sprint... So back off.

All Three major Service providers (four if you want to include t-mobile) offer roughly the same prices as far as monthly plans go. To me it boils down to where im using it and what phones are available. Now I work for att, so obviously i use att. But all things being equal i would go with Verizon because all my family and almost all my friends have verizon. The only phone i would get would be the storm, maybe the omnia. ATT kills verizon when it comes to high end phone, with the iphone and bold (and fuze and other such devices) so if everyone had att i know, i would be happier, but.. there it is

We just finished a chipset at work for an Android based phone for Verizon with LTE on the device. Manafacturer is Samsung. The Motorola has been finished for awhile. So they are probably getting at least two Android LTE handsets by the end of the year. Our deadline was at the end of Q1. Usually then phones release 1-2Q's after, which leads me to think they are getting two before the end of the year. We are started working on chipsets for Verizon's Palm Pre since the demand is dying down from the Sprint version. Seems like Verizon is stepping up there game. HTC rarely uses our chipsets, so I can't confirm or deny when more handsets are coming from them.

Yes very true behold--me, VZ is not part of the open handset alliance until they release there LTE network. So all LTE phones along with the network, even if they are backward compatible. Thus why they are getting two by year end. I worked on the chipsets for them. They are coming, I'm guessing within the next 6 months, cause we've already sent out chipsets to samsung and motorola.

sinfulta, any chance you have heard word about the HTC Touch Pro 2's release date on Verizon?

Not sure since HTC does a lot of all there own work and use's there own chipset vendors. We work with Samsung, Motorola, UTStarcomm, Pantech, LG, Apple, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba, HP, Nokia, Rim, Eten, Gigabyte, Acer, Asus, Mobiado, Kogan, Kyocera. We rarely deal with HTC as they just use us for overflow work.
