It's, as I said before, more about PR stuff. The i-phonearena and such other sites very conveniently ignore Sony products.

I mean seriously, it's funny to see Motorola and LG Being mentioned while Sony is left out... in fact this puts doubt on the credibility of the reviewers...

I have used GS2 & I replaced it with the Arc S purely for its originality & superior feel & with their new dual cores (t, tx, v) they have proven the point that I have always advocated that dual core phones are more than enough for the time being.

Sometimes it feels as if the Sony PR team is not working well with the Reviewers not keeping them enough happy and so they are often ignored and yes I agree Sony is far more articulate in their designing. They do have designers on their payroll rather than engineers doing it all lol

Probably because it's in a whole other category, phablets. The Note II though, hardware and software wise is the best smartphone on the market and will be for a while. Love that thing! Also, all of these other phones that were mentioned slap the new iPhone in the face, especially the Galaxy S III.

We like options, we like all sorts of shapes, sizes, designs, optional keyboards, open OS, customization, etc, but most of all FREEDOM. The difference is not every phone is ideal for every person. Some want a huge screen, some don't. Some want customization options, others want simplicity. My co-worker values indestructibility, only gets the military spec phones that can survive under water, etc...(He got a Samsung Rugby)

There is no single best cellphone anymore. We have many choices, and that's a win for us.

Phones have become a 16 hour per day experience, so it's logiical that consumers become attached, literally, to a brand. Throw in their respective investments in related ecosystems, and it's even clearer why these discussions seem more like conversations about one's religion or political party. At this point, 75% of the discussion is pure emotion. No wonder Apple is making BILLIONS. If Mr. Cook really wanted to surpass Steve Jobs success he would convert Apple into an official religion for the zero tax status.

Back to your question, I suspect the cpu is dual core with the gpu being quad core.

Well...since soc has smaller footprint than A5...folks at AnandTech suspect A6 has 2xA15 cpu cores built on Samsung's 32nm HKMG...or...or...its just A5x built on 32nm...so...untill Apple spill the beans or someone tear apart iPhone5...no one knows...we all are guessing!!!
