5 real-life video samples shot with the HTC One (Harlem Shake, ball game, Lumia 920 OIS fights)

The HTC One shoots two birds with one stone with its UltraPixel camera for real-life conditions, as it employs both larger than usual for a smartphone camera pixels and optical image stabilization technology, allowing for crisp and shake-free footage in most scenarios. U must be an idiot to think colours looked better on the lumia, look at the basketball game on the lumia, the colours kept changing it starts giving u a headache, atleast HTC ONE looked natural and consistent.

One looked consistent but not natural. Colors were over saturated in One. And what about the second video? 920 completely won that one.

In the second video lumia had little better colours but the colours kept changing and the video lagged several times while ONE lagged only once, I think. But it could be Youtube:s fault, but none of my videos lagged like that, ever so I doubt it.
And the third video won ONE most definitely. ONE is so much more detailed and much more accurate in colours.
Lumia isn´t the king a long time.

Well the same can be said about pretty much everything.

"are ppl gonna jump OS ship for the screen of a phone????"

"are ppl gonna jump OS ship for the processor of a phone????"

"are ppl gonna jump OS ship for the sturdiness of a phone????"

"are ppl gonna jump OS ship for the audio quality of a phone????"

You must be a Idiot to think that the 920 is not a smartphone!

Geez has Android/Google made you people so dumb to think that only Android makes smartphones?

Nokia has been making smartphone way before Android existed!

So either you are dumb as sh*t or a dumb blind android troll!

In the gym the white balance for the Lumia was all over the place. To me the stabilization looked the exact same but colors better and more real on the one

Look at the basketball video, lumia 920's colours was so inconsistent it started giving me a headache, the colours kept changing from bright saturated orange to washed out orange, while HTC colours stayed the same.

Obviously HTC ONE is the clear winner here.

lumia is the winner.. still one is closer...
(lumia have color problem at basket ball game) over all lumia is better.. it gives better details.

On the second video (basketball) the two phones look like they were held by two different people, judging from the dialogue. So can't really compare the OIS as different people have different ability to hold off shake. And for the side by side video (3rd), how do we know that the phones are actually hold by a single holding platform? Because as far as I know, left and right hands have different ability to hold off shakiness, too.
Anyway, the Lumia might have a slight edge in terms of OIS, and it may be able to reduce more shakiness than the One, but the Lumia is too jumpy in terms of white balance, resulting in a more unpleasant color and overall experience than the One. The One, on the other hand, has to get the details right, as for now, it is still below that of the Lumia. So, both have ups and downs. Down to which one suits you better.

to the HTC One. never going back to nokia.

why do you trolls recyle the same comments

''i had a [ insert name of none android phone] and its awful now i switched to [insert name of android phone] and its better in every way''

thats basically every comment your kind make.reality check is needed. both are good phones id give the advantage to the 920 but HTC are doing some excellent work breaking from the 13mp routine and trying something different

You're the one that is an idiot. Operating systems aside htc phone really takes good videos than the nokia 9200.and so sorry for you i'm not using an android nor a windows phone it is an unbiased observation from a keen eye unlike you. I use a nokia n9 for you're info.

lmao your comment has fallen so hard it must have hurt you

whats a nokia 9200? you must mean the 920, well i hope you do second no where have i said the HTC doesnt take good vids. but i'd personally give the advantage to the 920

the whole color comment doesnt hold much ground as its proven most will go for unnatural vivd over saturated colour to natural colour.

ohh and if using an n9 suddenly makes you unbiased i use an 808 so i must be unbiased too

But the funny thing is most fandroids here continuously
bash the 920 for being heavy and a brick but at the same time most of them state that if the 920 had android it would be a killer phone!

welll well.. its all clear that HTC IS THE WINNER HERE. no doubt lumia is good but htc wins in all aspects. its clearly seen that lumia colors r weird and it sort of changes colors.where as htc is more consistent in colors.video stablisation is almost equal in both handsets.and if u see that 3rd video its clear that rather lumia is showing a bit dark surroundings then in actual but htc is still beter there with colors.

Colors HTC ONE
Stablization Lumia 920
Audio recording HTC ONE = Lumia 920 [volum level isnt the concern here]
Background Noise Handling Lumia920

Although second Video looked like 920 was on macro setting while HTC one was Manaully set i seen this kind of color varrition in other mobiles when their focus is set to macro or auto

finally someone who actually see's it like it is on here.

and true they will say the one wins just because its android, see if you have one phone with a 8mp camera running android and one phone with a 30mp sensor running lets say wp8 well the android one takes better pics without the need of any tests..........this is how these fanboys think anyways reality is different

ofcourse whats even funnier is if you look on the camera comparisions the same android fanboys then slate the HTC One for having a crap camera and samsung's s4 is the best at everything in there eyes

and before i get swarmed by 5 android fanboys (yes we all know you lot need to comment in groups as you cant hold a discussion alone) yes im aware my comments are long

What I hate the most of these fanboys is that even when somebody makes a major breakthrough in something [example PureView tech] it still won't be good enough because it does not run Android

But if someone like samsung or HTC brings it out then its revolutionary! like ultra pixels!

its truly tragic that the so called ''tech lovers'' here are so android centric anything android has is needed and amazing but as you said when a old now dead os like symbian can support something android fanboys can only dream of (41mp sensor with oversampling and the ability to take full res 34-38mp photo's) it doenst matter as the os isnt android

they should face facts there was more innovation before android was born then now as its all about apps to them now.....all you hear them say is look at all the apps the play store has.

you hate HTC yet claim to own one, you hate wp8 yet claim to use it ohh your so stupid. either you buy what you claim to hate to moan or your bulls**tting and dont have one id say its the later

and then you do the classic ''i need to resort to using my ANDROID alternative'' please your bs smells so bad its too funny ohh and have you and the green robot got married yet? or maybe even the robots got scared of you been so obsessed with it

im also guessing from your butthurt comment your the one that takes it from the robot so your trying to deflect it to others............see its so easy to make fun of your kid one of the saddest fanboys around you are

Haha I think you should learn proper grammar and learn how to put together some semi coherent sentences before you call anyone else stupid.

Anyways, I never said I hated WP8 but your butt hurt fan boy way of thinking projected that on to me. Which is honestly quite sad. First you construct the idea that all Android fans ban together against Nokia which is completely false since HTC fans hate other Android manufacturers that outsell them.

Next, you claim I hate WP8 when I have never said anything remotely close to that.

This is what you call delusional and butt hurt. Haha
