Based on pictures from an iPhone repair site, the 4th gen iPhone doesn't appear to offer much in the way of change...

the iphone needs a keyboard but it will mess up the design. The iphone is about simplicity and asthetics. Adding 36 keys to a phone like that will throw off the design completely. it would have to be a slider and that would just put it with the rest of the side sliding touch screen phones.

you meant to say it would totally kill the design of the phone, but cutting it in half and having a discrete bezel that would slide up and reveal a keyboard wouldnt kill the design, it would make the phone more practical to heavy users.

I'm a very heavy user and find the touchscreen keyboard to work great for me. The auto-spell checker allows me to fly through messages with little to no mistakes, and not having to literaly press anything saves time as well. You probably wouldn't know all that though becuase I'm guessing you, like most people who have and bad things to say about the iPhone, have never used it.

Definitely no fanboy glasses as Im hardcore WinMo XDA and Android noob. But it would be common sense to have a higher res/bigger screen. Then again it would be common sense to have at least one camera in the Ipad. AAPL has become real good at selling minor upgrades year to year and making me tons of money.

I think the most obvious question here is why would apple send parts for one of it's biggest secrets to a repair shop? Also y would it be bigger without a bigger screen. I call shenannigans!

my iphone has a keyboard it slides out, i got it specially design or modify but it very high risk if the slightest mistake ATT say kiss my azz they will not look at it or exchange it but its great though i'll give you the website if your intrested in a qwerty keyboard for you iphone it an attachment.
