$499 Microsoft Surface tablet already in short supply

The Windows RT model of the Microsoft Surface tablet was put up for pre-order yesterday, but it already appears to be in short supply. Or at least the $499 model is, according to the Microsoft Store online...

im thinking about it too because i want the intel haswel chip but its next year and by that time the app store would be a little more developed

I would buy the SURFACE TABLET over a laptop it's less maitence. But waiting till next year to buy a tablet

folks although all Microsoft RT tablets including the Microsoft "Surface RT will "only" run Apps that are the Tile style apps found in the store tile app on Windows RT screen. this tablet Comes loaded with a special ARMS version of Microsoft Office that make this Tablet useful to business people, Regular folks, Students, Writers, and ect This version of Offices costs 150 or more if you try to buy it for your desktop or laptop this tablet also has it's dynamite great design that is a hit with a lot of People. Microsoft and developers are working to put lots of apps in the Windows 8 apps store.
folks please understand that only the new Windows 8 Tablets can run Desktop or laptop Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7 Programs.

software on ARMS type CPU's new apps have to be written for them but they will come be patient do not send it back
