After being sold out of the $499 Microsoft Surface tablet,the item is now back in stock on Microsoft's U.S. online store; the $499 version of the tablet offers 32GB of storage although it doesn't come with the Touch Cover that acts as a toucxh sensitive QWERTY and a protective cover...

Surface RT as well as PRO are amazing tablets with a functionality span that no other OS or tablet can match at the moment...its Windows after all

This is good for Microsoft first tablet and the apps will come because thousands of Developers at the windows 8 build conference were given free surface RT's to use to properly write the Apps to be used on this tablet computer. there some bugs and performance issues reported but the deal is they will be quickly corrected. folks remember the Microsoft RT Tablets OS only runs the apps that in the store on it's start screen.The Windows 8 Tablet computers , laptop and desktop computers not only run the Apps from their start screen store but can also run Windows 7, Vista, XP, windows 2000, windows NT programs .The Windows 8 devices Run more programs then the Windows RT devices can

Have ANY regular consumer received a Surface yet ?
And still all discussions look like they are all around :)
Let´s hope for the days when they are in stock a week after announcement as in the case of Apple products
