Breaking the Full HD screen barrier on our handsets has been the subject of myths and speculations ever since we broke the HD one, and now, with the HTC Droid DNA, we have for the first time something tangible we can buy and carry a 5" 1920x1080 pixels screen with us at all times...

The writer of this article is a newbie...
"the iPhone 5 covers the standard NTSC color gamut almost perfectly" ????
Not in a million years. Only an AMOLED or a Wide Gamut LCD display can cover the NTSC standard. Obviously you have mistaken the color gamut standards as you are probably refering to the sRGB coverage of the iPhone 5 display.
100% sRGB coverage equals to 72% NTSC coverage.
So the DNA's display (71% of NTSC) is ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD in this area as it covers the 98-99% of the sRGB standard. Similar to iPhone 5, One X, Nexus 4 displays.
Please update your article with the correct info.

the iphone5 has a 640 res. for sure it's not the best true it's the most accurate but not the clearest.and also not the best in outdoor visibility . i think until now the best screen is the lumia 920 we will have to wait for the review of PA about which one is better the lumia 920 or the DNA (regardless of the resolution)

9 out of 10 Reviews don't make sence. It all depends what u need and what work for u. All displays are good and bad in there on way. What is the point buy something for £500 and after 2 months they get outdated and worth half the price. U watch this DNA will get outdated in 3 months and worth half the price. that 920 is a top phone but it will worth £200 soon. WP8 market place is useless not even one app appeal to me. What wp doing todat ios and abdroid done it years ago. What's the point having that good screen if there is Out to take the advantage.
I will stick with my i5 for now

u stick with ur i5 i will get the lumia 920 as for the market place it's not going to be empty for ever it just need time maybe by the year 2013 it will get most of the apps .of course this is the mobile world u get a phone for 600$ and after a while it's going to be 250$ so the best thing to do is buy a phone that will not be outdated very soon

I know I'm not going to hate on HTC I'm happy to see this technology available to the masses. Can't wait to pick it up in my next phone after my current one no longer suites my needs. Although I don't ser that being for a while Gn2 FTW

I dont think it's a must but definitely has wow factor. Bringing it out at a bar will definitely get people to ask what phone you have. BOOM! With that said, and unlike PA registered users, normal users wont really see the difference. They will see all these phones having nice screens is all.
BTW, the HTC DNA should have been called "The Incredible" not the "DNA." To use "Incredible" on a mediocre phone just doesnt make sense to me. Dont get me wrong the Incredible 4G LTE is a great midline phone but I dont think it warrants a name like the "Incredible." I wish companies paid more attention to the names they allocate to theirs phones.

why not use the note2 instead of the SGS3? It has a much better screen than the SGS3 by far.
The screen is just to push the specs war. there is no need for 1080p at such screen sizes. it just requires extra processor power and battery to push all those pixels. On a tablet, sure thing give me 1080p.. but on a phone? No. Most of the difference will be "in your head".

There is no, opinions here. The fact is, pixel wise, the ranking I have above is the truth, and we can all see that truth in the picture.
