exactly.... so they are going to release a new generation of phones that are way behind on displayquality, display size, camera, are in total catchup mode on OS and theyve still got the arrogance to premioum price it by 30%
My bet is theyll be as fragile as eggs as theyve always been too.
one of Jobs most famous quotes was that nobody needs a display more than 3.5 inches on a phone so Apple isn't going to make it.... L.....O.....L
Apple has always had the unbelievable arrogance to say "this is what you want, so now pay too much for it, and by the way, you have to buy everything that goes on it from us too"
I was so glad when Android and Windows Phone became real players with great products so I didn't have to put up with apples arrogance anymore.

Whilst I never have and never will own an IPhone I am for the first time looking forward to Tim Cook’s announcement for these two products
The iphone6 4.7" and the iPhoneair 5.5 and the "justification" for the SIZE increase
As a non "Orchard dweller” there is a limit to NEW features added to each iPhone release,
increase size, increased battery power sapphire coating, the hype that the A8 will run 2.6 GHz is correctly dismissed in this article
Since iPhones went Dual Core only 300MHz has been added to IP5S the 3rd iPhone to be Dual Core
if there is an upgrade it will be just 200Mhz to 1.5GHz which matched the Q10 / Z10 both of these phones have 2Gb Ram
398 PPI also is very high as Apple is running par with Retina Display or 330 PPI
Finally there is not even a whiff or mention for the iPhone6C the iPhone5C was the affordable iPhone
Afaik the 8GB IPC was introduced for even more affordability so on 19/09/2014 so will there be an Iphone6C and if so 8Gb?

The 5s will probably take over as the "affordable' version.

So you know everything about iPhone 6 before it is even launched ?
Please don't confuse display quality and display resolution , they are not same ! Steve was arrogant but can really explain why people fall head over heals when apple releases "same sh*t"(sarcasm ) every time . Call him what you please but he was a very successful businessman .

A very good brainwasher. he's very good at making you believe that what you are payng for is the best. which is why he's so successful. great job trying to defend the iphone tho.

Whatever he was he did it pretty well ( You try it sometime ).And i am not trying to defend iPhone, it is just that i can stand the fanboys who think they represent the entire human population .

My Moto G and my old Nokia Lumia 620 are both better than this and 500% cheaper...
Paying for "luxury" is no longer an excuse, you're just "stupid" now...

Even as an Apple fan I don't see the point of this article. Its as if we are not bombarded with enough leaks and half baked rumors. Lets just stop with all the rumor recycling and wait until the thing is found in a bar so we are at least sure what it's going to look like.

Yea but what we should take away from this is that even with rumors it was a boring as hell read. I saw nothing that was genuinely exciting other than the sapphire glass bit and we know that isn't going to happen from the cost article.
22. iampayne (Posts: 322; Member since: 12 Aug 2013)
Exactly, its listed as "hot" and "featured" as if there was something here we haven't been reading about for months now.

Probably for you because you are not really into iOS ecosystem but this iPhone is pretty exciting for people who want to remain in iOS ecosystem and are looking for a new device .
different strokes for different folks.

Yeah. I love Apple articles. I have a little invested and i use their products. I will not be buying the iPhone 6 as I prefer the "s" models (my upgrades fall unto that cycle). But nevertheless, I love reading about rumors and progression. Especially, that last year they missed a few huge bits - 64bit was a surprise even to Samsung that apple hired to manufacture what apple designed.
I can understand why android fans and anti-apple trollers dont seem to find much interesting in these - what i don't understand is why they read it and then comment and then debate on products they don't like.
One of the most tickling rumors that i enjoy is the spec sheet for iPhones. They're minimal, yet history shows that iDevices best top flagships with half their specs. And than no matter how much dirt apple gets from nerds and dorks for their specs - it still seems to build a positive experience reputation that's proven by sale numbers.
The reason many are unimpressed is because they're reading it on paper instead of using it. Specs are important to using Android - not so with iOS. My half spec-ed iPhone 5s runs all the games released on android and games that developers didn't even bother making for android. This experience is absolutely the reason I bought another iPhone. So looking at rumors, leaks, analysis predictions is like following you favorite football team during offseason.
Why would anyone frequent a game of teams they care nothing about is beyond me. For the record, even if I do prefer iOS, i like Google, I like the appeal of WP and I'm rooting for BB to comeback with that new passport phone. Samsung unfortunately, can be damned. Their place is low budget phones, heres hoping they change my view with their Note 4.

I think this comment is very secluded. MOST people like to see what their rivals are doing, they enjoy the competition. This isnt a vague thing either, MOST people do this. I have an android device, and I read a lot of apple articles, why? Because I enjoy to see what the other side is doing to IMPROVE tech as a whole. One person does one thing, the other has to match and surpass it, its part of business in general .
Apple though, has made adjustments to their devices that a LOT of people are not happy about. People believe that when you use the word 'innovation' or 'premimum' they want to feel like they've made a solid buy, but when you see a bunch of children or elderly people (This is an actual thing people are upset about) using their STATE OF THE ART device for nothing but facebook, it rubs dirt in their pride. Not just that, but when those 'devoted' followers arent given enough to be excited about, or even more, when they see other devices that are NOT their 'advanced' piece of technology pass them in specs, functions, and features, it can leave a person bitter. Its the same thing for the comic book community and even the gaming community when things became more mainstream. THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES BEFORE, so this is nothing new.
Also, for the 'games' only on IOS, most of those develops do have contracts with apple to make their product on their devices only...for now at least. Not only that, but with how the iphone was originally designed, they were to believe that the standards for the device would leave very little for them to patch or adjust for newer models, a dream come true! It has nothing to do with apple have 'better' platforms for their games.

I love the comment very well said. But I still prefer the freedom of android.
