4.3 is the best for me

7. ledbetterp3 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 05:32 7

I think your average sized phone for holding a 4.3 inch screen is perfect. But if you can make the screen bigger without increasing thephone's size, that would be great.

9. XiphiasGladius posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:02 1 2

Yeah, they can do that easily if they make the mobile screens a more rectangular type. . .

49. bayusuputra posted on 15 Mar 2012, 16:44

so it becomes wider? not really..

10. PeteD10 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:09 6 3

Absolutely! More screen, less bezel please.

42. PhoneLuver posted on 15 Mar 2012, 09:56 3

If the Bezel is thin enough you can go up to 4.6" no problem!

2. Guest_star posted on 15 Mar 2012, 05:21 1

4,3 is the best, 4,5 is as big as i would go...bigger than that is just not comfortable

19. ayephoner posted on 15 Mar 2012, 07:07

the overall footprint and volume is what really matters.

screen size does not absolutely dictate device size. the galaxy nexus has a 4.65" screen, but due to lack of physical buttons, a thin bezel and a very thin device, it works very well.

if the technology continues toward smaller bezels and thinner phones, i could see a 5" screen being perfectly comfortable.

47. Guest_star posted on 15 Mar 2012, 14:15

it is just not comfortable in landskape mode to type messages, mb i have small hands idk but 4,3 hite the sweet spot for me, 4,3 with resolution as high as possible :D

Even 5.3 inch isn't too much if you use Flygrip

8. thelegend6657 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 05:41 2 1

To me it's 3.7 to 4.5 . However I felt that my mom's galaxy note is too big for a phone too small for a tablet . BTW 3.5 inch wasn't that bad like some Fandroids claim , I used a 3.5 inch screen on my iPod and n97 . Try the Xperia x8's 3inch screen , typing on it makes you go nuts

11. bbblader posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:23 2 1

for me only 4'' is the sweet spot more is just too much

13. zuckerboy posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:42

it is completely depends on your needs . 4,3 inch is good for me (because i have big hands :D) also 4,5 quite comfortable but above that would be not good.

14. remixfa posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:52

i enjoy my 4, but would definately like to go to 4.5 if/when they reduce the bezels

16. remixfa posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:52 4

what this survey said, but he writers wont "90% of the people do not like the size of the iphone"

31. andro. posted on 15 Mar 2012, 08:21 1

They cant mention that or ifans will throw a hissy fit, they cant handle that level of truth about iproducts

17. Glim12808 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:53

4.3 is the most comfortable size for me.

18. Philipb posted on 15 Mar 2012, 06:56

i got the titan, i would not go bigger. Would be happy with size as low as 4.3.

20. kazunorikobo posted on 15 Mar 2012, 07:08

Read this article Samsung!
I hope SGSIII is 4.3~4.65"...If you need two hands to get to every screen edge then its a tablet.

22. Sprissy posted on 15 Mar 2012, 07:29

I think anything over 4.5 is just to big for a phone. My 4.3 is perfect.

23. JonBjSig posted on 15 Mar 2012, 07:31

I agree, my nexus s is very confortable at 4 inches and I wouldn't mind at all going up to 5 inches more, but in my opinion the sweet spot is more 3.7 - 4.5.

25. DontHateOnS60 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 07:36

4.5" but not RAZR thin or with Samsung's cheap feeling weight and materials. Lumia 900 sized but with a bigger display, and Nokia N8/E7 materials.

26. jabberwocky posted on 15 Mar 2012, 07:49

No bigger than 4.5, but as others have said the bezel matters. No smaller than 4 sounds about right. I like my 3.7 but I do wish it was a touch bigger.

90%!!!! I hope the manufacturers read this! They need to provide their flagship features and processing in phones less than 4.5", not just the monster big ones.

27. kshell1 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 07:56

i used the have the epic 4g touch, and absolutely loved the 4.5 incher on it.

28. shadez10 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 08:13

totally agree with this... 4.3 above is just too big...

29. redmd posted on 15 Mar 2012, 08:17 1

I love my GNote. Every. Inch. Of. It.

39. kcombs posted on 15 Mar 2012, 09:13

me too!

32. andro. posted on 15 Mar 2012, 08:23 1

4.7 is grand for me as long as the bezel is minimal, that way the phone isnt much bigger than a galaxy s2.

51. bayusuputra posted on 15 Mar 2012, 16:50

agreed.. 4.3-4.7 for me.. as long as the size of the phone is not too big.. i am thinking about 4.5-4.7 in S2 size..

33. hateftotti posted on 15 Mar 2012, 08:33

So apple products are not suitable...

35. Leo_MC posted on 15 Mar 2012, 08:35

I would like a 23" screen; I can't have it so I would settle with what can be fit into a maximum 120-125 x 60 mm phone.

37. sheepygalaxy posted on 15 Mar 2012, 08:51

agree 3.5 is to small but over 4,5 is to big

38. mariosraptor posted on 15 Mar 2012, 09:09

with 4 inches is great. any bigger for people that have small hands would require for them to use both hands.
1 for holding the device and the other for using the device.
so the absolute limit even for a very big handed person is 4.3 if he or she does not want to use both hands.

41. hepresearch (unregistered) posted on 15 Mar 2012, 09:30

Thin doesn't matter too much to me, in fact I'd almost rather have a phone that's as thick as, or slightly thicker than, 0.4-0.5" just so I know the thing won't crack in half or break if I dropped it accidentally. Better grip that way, too, I think. Well, it has to be 3.7" screen or less for me. I have small hands... what else can I say?

44. Stuntman posted on 15 Mar 2012, 11:46

I guess I'm just too used to my 3.7" screen. Got my phone for almost a year and a half now. Anything larger than 4" just feels humungous to me.

46. JGuinan007 posted on 15 Mar 2012, 13:57 1

I use the Samsung Galaxy Note and 5.3 is perfect for me it took a day to get used to the size but when I went to reset my Inspire 4g it felt small to me. I love the display for texting and webbrowsing I don't think I could go back to anything smaller than 5 inches.

54. CelphConcepts posted on 27 May 2012, 08:21

4.3 is pretty good for me. i have pretty big hands so i couldn't see myself going below 4.3. i love the 4.5 screens too..
