3G/4G Aircard coming soon to Sprint
With it's 4G service up and running in the greater Baltimore area, Sprint has announced releasing a dual-mode aircard by the end of the month. The company has stated that this new USB U300 Modem will be available December 21 for $149.99 with a two-year subscriber agreement, after a $50 mail-in-rebate. The new wireless aircard provides users the ability to connect to Sprint's blazing fast 4G service when present and switch seamlessly to their more expansive 3G connection when 4G is not available. Sprint recently merged with Clearwire in hopes creating a nationwide WiMax network.

Its not going to change the stability of either their network or their financial situation, or make them a better company. Will data speed on this card in Baltimore be fast? If you get great reception, yes.

awesome! sprint will survive as a wireless internet company and just drop cellphones!! haha!.. ok.. maybe not, but unless it takes off fast, sprint is just spreading themselves out for even more financial troubles.. then again, if they offer it in my town and it works well (with no dang cap so i can game on it), it would be of interest to me.

It will slowly set in that the masses are going to wisen up to the fact that they're paying more for less (services, call quality and 3g with blue and services with red) in this economic climate you want to increase disposable income
