You guys just have to tie everything back to Apple. You guys are part of the reason why the iPhone hype won't die. You can't seen to stop talking about it.

what i do not understand is i have read many many many times online how people always bich about how crappy at&t service is.. why do companies like samsung, htc, lg etc continue making phones for at&t?? dont those companies read online peoples reviews about at&t ? i guess not cause they still keep making phones for at&t ..i kno for a fact that if i was president of a company like LG or htc i would not want my products to be running on a crappy network.. i would put them on another network thats good

people get what they pay for. .. . I work for att and try my best to put people in actual good phones. however, att can purchase crappy phones from LG and Samsung, etc. for far smaller a price than they can the top end phones, and the cheap ones are what most people end up getting because after subsidies, they are the cheap/free ones... this is the same model with all other us carriers. People cheap out and go for the freebie (getting sub-par quality of phone) and the network is only as good as the device that's using it. apple is no different in this case, apple just has a huge following and top notch marketing... the iphone has been tested against other phone's that actually work they way they should and it fails in comparison as a phone(not media--we all know its great in this department) but as a phone it is less than average... just like all the crappy cheap-o freebies that most people end up with. As the case is with att cashing out on the desire to have an iphone has both helped and hurt our reputation as a good network.. i worked for vzw for 5yrs and att for 2 and can honestly say that i have gotten equal service with both just about everywhere i have been across the country and see no reason to ever leave(speaking as a customer not emp) as i love to swap phones-- i carry an acer liquid-- and get far better reception and internet speed everywhere i go and at any point can buy and use any phone i choose. as an emp i will continue to sell the iphone- because lets be real, its my paycheck right now- but cannot wait for some android phones to launch so i can start selling them instead of the iphone. I will be happier, my customers will be happier and all the whiny, tech journal reading babies that hate on att due to the iphone will perhaps lay off and find something wrong with something else to focus their whinning on.

Why continue making phones for AT&T? It is the #2 carrier in the US, has a global footprint, with millions of potential sales. If you were in fact president of any of those companies, you'd have declared bankruptcy for poor business practices by *not* making phones for AT&T. If I made car accessories, you better believe I'm gonna include Ford in my product line-up, even if I personally don't like them, cause the potential for sales of my product. Get real...

um are u sure at&t has a global footprint?? no it dont.. actually t-mobile and verizon do. t-mobile is available in europe and verizon is available in europe tru vodafone from what i heard at&t is ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE USA......

"no it dont"... bahahahahaha. You're grammar is about as good as your response. ATT has some of the largest global coverage, obviously since they are GSM. Wherever you "heard" that ATT is only available in the US clearly doesn't have a clue.

cause i work for at&t maybe thats why.. n u got shit mixed up n u must not know anything cause if u travel to europe do u see any at&t stores?? NO u dont..................but u do see alot of t-mobile stores... u said so urself that at&t has the largest global coverage since they are gsm u got that right it works anywere in the world cause it uses gsm but u also said that i have no clue cause i said at&t is only available in the usa. which it is true... were else have u seen at&t?? thats out of the usa??? LET SEE TELL ME PLEASE??? cause u say at&t is not only available in the usa its available in more places...ill be waiting for an answer...... t-mobile in the other hand is available in the usa and in all of europe so that makes t-mobile have more of a global presence than at&t...

Wow, I stopped reading your post after the first sentence, er run-on. Yes ATT doesn't SELL SERVICE in Europe but that doesn't mean they don't have coverage there. You went through some type of training I hope? ATT has coverage in over 215 countries and the coverage they have their depends on their partners coverage.

Why would they not? If ATT is willing to purchase these phones, why not make the money?

Because APPLE wont let ATT have ANDROID

First off Apple went to AT&T and they said yes to the Apple's terms which put them in a pickle but ended up giving them a good number of customers. People will pick good products and as always Apple stepped up to produce. AT&T was simply there to help. AT&T has always been a very good and business savvy company rather you hate them or not.
