2,380 orange slices required to charge an iPhone

Call it an ingenious marketing scheme, but one advertisement commences a quest on figuring out the age old question of how many oranges are required to charge an iPhone. With a lot of patience, and we mean plenty of it, you can even accomplish getting your iPhone charged with the aid of orange slices. The advertisement is for Jaffa oranges and showcases a unique way of juicing up the power hungry smartphone – it requires 2,380 orange slices to properly charge the device. Aside from the juicy closeup shots of those slices evenly placed from one another, one has to consider all the meticulous planning in getting this whole scenario complete. Still, it goes to show what unorthodox methods some are willing to come up with in juicing Apple's prized product – so we guess that apples and oranges do mix; quite well actually.

They had to use orange slices for this test. Unfortunately, one Apple overcharges anything it's connected to.

Fire the idiot with the four-year degree in advertising & marketing that these guys hired. I'm suing to get my 1:27 back.
