Thanks to a better selection of handsets running the OS, Google says that the number of Android phones activated daily has risen sharply...

Nope, my ANDROID market downloads at lightning 3G AT&T speeds - GOOGLE is catching up.....although, still too many crap apps....

what apps come up depends on what phone you have, have crap phone get crap apps

not true, I get lots of apps, but some do not work - like the live wallpaper - howvere, I found 40 apps so far I like and the crap apps are stuff like playboy and other naked woman games, pics....I hide that from the wife...lol, jk.

my DROID downloads at the same speeds bud.....just not in the 3 cities it might be a half a meg faster. DROID on VZW DOES.....android with no unknown sources downloads = FAIL

Yeah, my HTC ARIA is rooted, so now I can get SKYFIRE and SWYPE - 2 awesome apps.
