It's a dream come true - seriously. I loved the Windows mobile side of my Treo, but hated the call quality so I switched back to LG with the Dare. I have been hoping for an LG WM device!

It is not like the Glyde, but not squishy like the Voyager, either. It has a good, solid feel.

I beg to differ...The Dare is SUPERIOR to the iphoney. Pint one: LG was making innovative touch screen devices prior to the icrap (ggogle "LG prada"). Pint 2: It has so much of what iphone is missing (video, SMs texting, mobile IM - actually too much to list). Verizon has no desire to compete with the iphone - they turned down the iphone and were smart to do so. With he outrages fees Apple charges for the phone and the ridiculous fees you have to pay for the iphone, the Dare is a much better value for the non-business user. Fourth point: I have found the size of the phone ideal. Last point: Most importantly - a phone is only as good as a network - and everyone who knows anything know Verizon is king of the networks. Anyone who has spent a serious amount of time looking at the Dare will quickly point out that the question isn't whether the dare can compete with the iphone, but whether the iphone can compete with the Dare.

Actaully - it is not a VZW issue. You have to buy the Opera browser for any Windows Mobike device. IT isn't a free download. I ahd a trial version of the Opera broweser on my tReo 700w but I liked the IE browser better.
