T-mobile is going to gain more customers due to having better customer service. Last year and previous years, 60% of T-mobile's business was processed by an indirect dealer named The Mobile Solutions. If you have ever experienced one, you know how bad of a name they gave T-mobile. Recently, T-mobile bought out The Mobile Solutions and re-subleased the locations to better indirects and made others into corporate locations in an effort to quell The Mobile Solutions unethical business practices. This should give T-mobile a leg up to give customers a better overall experience and, of course, increase revenue.
I agree. Of all the carriers out there, Sprint's Direct Connect PTT is WORSE that VZW's or at&t due to the fact the latter(s) works on any cell radio tower where Sprint's has to use the iDEN network towers only and sorry but have you LOOKED at a Nextel Coverage map? Interstate roads and a 25-50 mile radius for the most part for coverage. Pretty sad. Also, you can convert the PTT in at&t into a phone call and vice versa. Not Sure about VZW but try THAT on Direct Connect on Sprint. Pffft!
They have the same minute plans and prices for the most part that at&t and VZW have. The only difference is their messaging and internet and their unlimited everything plan. Sprint unlimited text is $10, $5 for unlim multimedia which requires the $10 unlim internet. So in reality for a single line VZW and at&t are better since they include all of those without the internet for cheaper. Sprint gimmicks you then nickel and dimes you. Their internet is slightly faster than at&t and VZW, though.
The Phone is really thick. I got a dummy in my store, and while it looks cool, it also seems to be more of a camera than a phone. Measures about 1.5 inches thick at it's thickest and 1.4" at is thinnest.
Guarantee you they weren't all downloading the same fileset from the same websites. The bandwidths, and website server speeds factor in too. Retest with the same files from the same website because VZW and Sprint CAP OUT max speed 1.5Mbts while At&t and T-mobile cap out at 3.6Mbts.
You people make me sick. A man is dead and you crack jokes about him? Wonder what people will say when YOU are dead. $44,000 and a laptop should be a record for the most unkind and uncaring compensation ever.
There are a few ways. If you are living somewhere that you have ZERO service, or move to a similar place,or if YOUR plan pricing was changed while in contract while no one else's was. Everyone has a bad story with another company. I am sorry your bad experience was with us. I have had bad experiences with Verizon and Qwest but that doesn't mean that they are bad companies, just treated me as an individual poorly. If you want to leave, however, I recommend you do NOT change your plan until you leave, if you need a new phone, do NOT upgrade (buy a prepaid phone and pop your smartchip in) and wait out your contract.

Whenever a carrier wants to put a tower somewhere, they have to have it voted on if they want to use a parcel of land by YOU, a resident of that city (it comes in your ballots), Then, the FCC has to approve it based on the numbers of towers in that area and the imapct putting one in would have on their competition. At&t asks, but YOU and the FCC make the final decision.

But why do they do it? Uhm...answer: They are paying someone else for you to use a different network. So those speeds may not even be under Sprint.
