to be honest this may be interesting. since WiMax and LTE are both compatible on the same hardware, we could be looking at the first, best, and most widely available 4G network in the future.
also, sprint and t-mobile coverage isn't that bad... although i personally have verizon, my friends with t-mobile and sprint don't seem to have many problems. sprint and t-mobile are also pretty open in terms of UI and features whereas verizon locks down the UI and features of their phones like no other.
on top of that t-mobile and sprint have some of the nicest phone options out there. palm pre, myTouch, HTC Touch Pro2, BB Tour, the upcoming HTC Hero, Motorola Cliq
also, sprint and t-mobile don't charge an arm and leg, and your first born child for data and voice service like verizon does.
