Played with the phone for 2 minutes and is almost exactly like the Rogue in terms of the look and the touchscreen is pretty much more of the same. It feels sluggish, eventhough most winmo phones feel sluggish.

Looks like the Rogue, and probably crap. Samsung hasn't come out with a quality phone for Verizon.

You can go to at&t and check their 3g coverage map and then compare it to Verizon's 3g coverage map and see for yourself. At&t isn't suing cause the maps are wrong. They know the maps are right they are suing because people like you do not know the difference between 3g and voice coverage and if judging by some of the responses in this forum they may have a case if people are that uneducated. If you have never traveled the country with Verizon 3g coverage or any of their services then it is understandable to not believe that cell coverage can be that good.

I find it interesting that the article says that "Verizon" sold 100,000 Droids and "Apple" sold X amount. It leads me to believe that Apple may have set a purchase quota for At&t in order for them to carry the iphone. So At&t may have sold X amount of phones while Apple may have sold a different amount to At&t and posted that as the amount of phones sold which would not be false. The issue with most tech blogs like this is that most statements are said as fact but they really are more of a guess and the bias of the site comes through. Comparing the sales of a cell carrier against that of a cell phone manufacture is not a fair comparison.

If I manufacture phones and sell them to the carrier the amount that I sell will to the carrier reflects the total amount of handsets I have sold. The carrier then goes and sells the phone, if they do not sell all the phones that represents the total that they have sold.

It isn't Apple's fault, the guy was obviously unstable if he leaps to his death. Apple should have probably asked that no beatings take place though. They should pull out of any relationship with this company because of this though.

I think it is very accurate in representing the speeds of AT&T because more than half of the users are from them. It is still slower than that mythical 7.2mbps we keep hearing about. At the very least all of the other carriers give a more accurate speed rating.
